Class booking software

Bookings that fill the room and stay fair.

Members book from your timetable, and the rules hold on their own. A cancellation window that frees up a spot, no-shows counted as used, and a cap so one person can't hold the whole week.

  • One rule for everyone
  • No-shows counted as used
  • A full class frees itself up
Spot freed Pilates · Thu 7am · cancelled in time

The rule is the same for everyone, and it applies itself. No arguing a cancellation at the desk, no quietly letting one member book out the month. You set it once; Svich enforces it every time.

Why full classes still lose money

A fully booked class with empty mats costs you twice.

  • “One member books every slot for the month and half go empty.”

Open bookings are capped and booking ahead is limited, so a class fills with people who actually intend to come.

3 the default cap on open bookings per member

  • “Someone cancels at the door and the mat sits empty.”

A cancellation inside the window frees the spot while there's still time for someone else to take it. Cancel late and it counts as used.

12 hours the default free-cancellation window

  • “No-shows never pay a price, so they keep happening.”

A no-show is counted against the pack or plan like an attended class, so not turning up is no longer free.

Counted a no-show is used, not refunded

Rules that apply themselves

Set the rule once. The desk never negotiates it again.

The cancellation window, the no-show count, the book-ahead limit and the open-booking cap are settings, not favours. They apply to every member the same way, so your team stops being the bad guy and a full class stays full of people who show up.

  • A cancellation window that frees the spot in time
  • No-shows counted as used against the pack or plan
  • A 30-day limit on how far ahead a member can book
  • A cap on open bookings, so nobody holds the whole week

What you get

Bookings your members trust and your desk doesn't dread.

Every rule is set once and enforced for everyone, so a popular class stays fair without a conversation.

  • A cap on open bookings

Limit how many unused bookings a member can hold at once. The default is three, so a batch fills with people who mean to come.

  • A free-cancellation window

Cancel in time and the spot opens for someone else. Cancel late and it counts as used. The window is yours to set.

  • No-shows counted as used

A missed class comes off the pack or plan like an attended one, so not showing up stops being free.

  • A book-ahead limit

Members can book up to 30 days out by default, so the timetable doesn't get locked up weeks in advance by a few people.

  • The same rule on every plan

Unlimited, class packs and pay-per-visit all follow the same booking rules, so there's one policy to explain, not three.

  • Members book themselves

The timetable on your public page and in the portal is bookable. Members take their own spot and the class closes at the cap.

The rules

Every booking rule, and what it's set to by default.

Each one is a setting you can change. These are the defaults a studio starts on. If you run a rule that isn't here, tell us on the call.

The booking rules StudioOS enforces and their default settings
RuleDefaultWhat it does
Open-booking cap 3 per member The most unused bookings a member can hold at once, so a few people can't take the whole week.
Free-cancellation window 12 hours Cancel before this and the spot frees up. Cancel after and it counts as used.
No-show Counted as used A missed class comes off the pack or plan, so not turning up has a cost.
Book-ahead limit 30 days How far in advance a member can book, so the calendar doesn't lock up months out.
Class capacity Per class The number of spots. Bookings close themselves the moment a class is full.

What class booking doesn't do

Said plainly, so the demo call is about what fits.

  • There's no public reviews or ratings on classes. This books spots, it doesn't run a feed.
  • It doesn't sell your classes on a third-party marketplace. Members book on your own page.
  • It isn't a waitlist auction. A freed spot opens on your rules, it isn't sold to the highest bidder.

Free demo

Bring the booking headache you want gone.

Thirty minutes, screen-shared. Tell us the class people fight over and the rule you can never enforce, and we'll set it up in the real app while you watch. Nothing to send us first.

  • 30 minutes, no slide deck. We open the real app and work through your questions.
  • Built around how you work now. Tell us what you're using, whether it's a spreadsheet, a notebook or another system, and we'll show you what changes and what doesn't.
  • No obligation, no card. If it isn't the right fit, we'll tell you.

FAQ

Common questions.

Something not here? Write to hello@svich.in. A person answers.

Can I change the booking rules?

Yes. The cancellation window, the no-show behaviour, the book-ahead limit and the open-booking cap are all settings. The defaults are 12 hours, counted as used, 30 days and three open bookings. Change any of them to suit how you run.

What happens when someone cancels late?

A cancellation inside your window frees the spot for someone else and doesn't cost the member anything. Cancel after the window and the class counts as used, the same as a no-show, so late drop-offs stop being free.

Can one member book out the whole week?

No. The open-booking cap limits how many unused bookings a member can hold at once, and the book-ahead limit stops anyone reserving months in advance. A popular class fills with people who intend to come.

Do the rules work across different plans?

Yes. Unlimited plans, class packs and pay-per-visit all follow the same booking rules, so there's one policy to explain rather than a different one for each kind of member.

Can members book without calling the desk?

Yes. The timetable on your public page and in the member portal is bookable. Members take their own spot, the class closes itself at the cap, and the front desk isn't the booking system.

What does StudioOS cost?

Starter is $49/month for up to 250 active members, Growth is $149/month with unlimited members and the advanced automation rules, and Enterprise is priced per group. Classes, packs and bookings are included on every plan. Yearly billing works out at ten months.

Keep your best classes full and fair.

Set the rules once and let them apply themselves. Members book their own spots, no-shows pay for it, and the desk gets out of the referee business.
